Descibed as the hottest young talent in New Zealand rallying, 22 year old South Canterbury driver
Hayden Paddon has burst onto the National rallying scene in the last 4 years.
Coming within the slimmest of margins of winning the overall New Zealand Championship in 2007,
Paddon stamped his authority on the 2008 season, winning the junior title for the 3rd time and
the outright title at WRC Rally New Zealand with one round to spare.
In 2009 he has extended this amazing record to once again win the overall New Zealand Rally Championship,
but also the FIA Pacific Cup and the prestigious Pirelli Star Driver Scholarship which provides a
fully funded programme of six World Championship rallies in 2010.
